wSWAMP on Polygon
wSWAMP is the wrapped version of SWAMP on the Polygon network, an ERC-20 token you can use across the Polygon/EVM ecosystem — DEXs, DeFi, wallets — while staying fully backed 1:1 by real SWAMP coins held in reserve. Every wSWAMP token in circulation is matched by an equal amount of SWAMP locked in the bridge vault, and you can always redeem your tokens back for native SWAMP.
- Network: Polygon (chain ID 137)
- Token contract: 0xc6cd5b7bbe220507f267542ed85631638d80a42e
- Backing: 1:1, continuously verified on-chain
- Maximum supply: 4,000,000 wSWAMP, enforced by the contract itself
Bridge (SWAMP ⇄ wSWAMP Polygon)
The bridge is the tool that moves value between the SWAMP network and Polygon — in both directions.
How it works
- **SWAMP → wSWAMP:** send SWAMP to your personal deposit address, wait for network confirmations, and wSWAMP arrives automatically in your Polygon wallet.
- **wSWAMP → SWAMP:** burn your wSWAMP tokens and the equivalent amount of SWAMP is sent back to your SWAMP address.
Security
- No single point of failure.
Every mint and every payout requires 2-of-3 independent signatures, held on three separate machines that are not the same server running the website or database — compromising the site does not give access to funds or minting rights. - Reserve is always verified.
The bridge continuously checks that the SWAMP held in reserve is never less than the wSWAMP in circulation, using several independent checks running in parallel. - Signatures are verified independently.
Each signer checks every request against its own node and its own copy of the rules — it does not trust data reported by the website.
Fees and limits
– Bridge fee: 10 SWAMP per operation
– Minimum exchange amount: 50 SWAMP
– Maximum per single transaction: 49,999
– Maximum total per hour: 89,999
– Network gas (Polygon) is separate from the bridge fee; if your wallet has no gas, the bridge can top it up automatically as part of your first exchange.
Technical details
Minting on Polygon is authorized through a Gnosis Safe multisig contract 0x0849f30093884b8f5ece19fb1d104563a3612b97, requiring 2-of-3 signatures from the same independent signers who hold the SWAMP-side keys — no single machine can mint tokens on its own. Redeeming (wSWAMP → SWAMP) burns tokens through a dedicated burner contract 0x6362b233f827ef36b57b7682b51b669f29f1b018, kept separate from the executor account by design, so that approving a redemption never grants broader spending access over your wallet.
